- Buka Folder "Setup" - Jalankan 'Setup.exe' untuk mulai Install.
- Saat Instalasi, Pilih 'Single User License' - Next
- Dibagian akhir Instalasi anda akan diminta untuk memasukkan Lisensi agar SPSS dapat digunakan, caranya sebagai berikut :
- Hilangkan Ceklist 'Click Here....' - OK
- Pilih 'Enable for Temporary Usage' - Next
- Klik Browser (Gambar Folder) - Pilih 'temp.txt' yang nanti akan muncul - OPEN
- Selanjutnya klik Next - Lalu Finish
- Buka Folder 'EQX' - Copy file "lservrc" ke Folder Instalasi
- (Default : C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\20)

- Jika SPSS tidak bisa dijalankan dengan ditandai dengan munculnya pesan Error "This application has failed to start, because the application configuration is incorrect.", itu berarti komputer anda belum terinstall VCRedist yang sesuai,
- Solusinya :
- Buka C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\20\VC8 - Klik Kanan Vcredist_x86.exe - Run As Admin - Install. Jika muncul kotak Browse, pilih Cancel saja.
- Selanjutnya buka C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\20\VC9 - Lakukan hal yang sama seperti VC8 tadi.
